The Day After Christmas

The Day After
What a relief!  All the shopping, trimming, decorating, baking cookies, filling stocking, opening gifts, picking up wrappings and ribbons, cooking, greeting family and friends is over for another year.  So, what is left?  What do we do today?  THE DAY AFTER!

Here, in Sunapee, NH, the snow is snowing and the wind is blowing - ever so gently. It is a good day to sit by the fire, read a book, knit leg and arm warmers, blog, sip St. Germaine, and doze off. That is just what I am doing. However, it is a bit tooooo early to start sipping. What are you doing wherever you live? My daughter, who lives in Bradenton Beach, Florida, is already sitting on the beach enjoying the warmth of the sun and the lovely sounds of the waves rolling in one after the other.  What a beautiful way to spend THE DAY AFTER.

I hope, wherever you call home, you are doing exactly whatever makes you happy just TO BE.
